Services

Our tonal philosophy is that of The American Master Tradition, stemming from the Ernest M. Skinner tradition.
The organ is called The King of Instruments. Its characteristic idiom is the sustained tone. Its unique voice is the Diapason. Its unapproachable strength is in its magnificent pedal bass, which has no musical parallel.- Ernest M. Skinner.

We hope that we can help with the needs of any organ project you wish to pursue. Please feel free to contact us to visit the site for a free estimate. We feel that every organ is unique to its environment as well as the people for which it serves, so your input is very important to us!

In order to ensure that your pipe organ has great sound quality as well as making sure all the components of the instrument are working we would highly recommend having your instrument regularly serviced. We offer many different programs based upon the instruments usage and the number of hot and cold days the organ is exposed to ensure you have an instrument that is always up to a concert standard. Typically we offer tuning and maintenance four times a year based upon the temperature change and Christmas and Easter performances. This may vary depending on the use and age of the instrument.

Emergency 24 hour service

This service will cover any emergency that impedes the organs ability to work or if ciphering is occurring. In order to ensure a great sound and a quality tuning, we cannot stress enough that the environment of the organ is at performance temperature. The temperature and humidity levels can impact an organs tuning tremendously. So upon notice of our visit we request the HVAC system be turned on.

Helpful Tips for Extending the Life of an Instrument

The woodworking and leather components used in the construction of the instrument can last generations depending on the degree of temperature change and dirt the instrument is exposed to. Extreme variations in temperature may induce cracking and drying out of the mechanisms that enable the organ to work properly.

New Keydesk and Switching Electronic Updates

With the influx of the computer era into our daily lives we can now incorporate pipe organs into the Digital Era. The Silent stop switching available today can be programmed up to 100 levels and is longer lasting and reliable than the older method of electro-pneumatic switching. The newer systems also allow for incorporating midi and digital stops into each instrument as well as sequencing. Transposers are also available to easy the load on the organist. We can have up to six half steps up and down.

Rebuilding and Relocating Existing Instruments

Ever since the companies conception rebuilding has been a staple of this company. We pride ourselves on precision and quality and this is where it shows. We have a long history of rebuilding small and large instruments of any temperament or make. We take great care with every instrument no matter the size. We would like every organ that we have been a part of to show the quality we have come to be known for.

Recently we rebuilt the Kilgen Organ of 155 ranks at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. As well as updated the Nave division to serve a better transition between the Gallery and Chancel Organs. We are proud to still be involved in maintaining that instrument today.

New Instruments

The quality of a new instrument we can provide is unmatched. All materials, designs, and tonal registrations are chosen from the best resources from around the world. We pride ourselves in the quality of products that we put into our instruments to ensure a great sound and the longevity of the instrument. Our electrical components are checked more than four times before finalization of the instrument as well as our wood and leathers are hand selected from the finest providers in the world.

The installation is carefully planned and rehearsed before the move from the factory.
All new organs are fabricated in-house at our factory in Paterson, New Jersey. The organ is tested and assembled before arriving on site.

With any instrument we are involved with, the Voicing and Tuning is done by the Peragallos on two separate trips as the organ settles into its new surroundings.
